Vivek Dadhania, PhD, DABT, ERT
Founder and Chief Toxicologist
Vivek Dadhania, the founder and chief toxicologist of SciQra, is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the cosmetic and consumer product industries. Vivek has played a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of top global brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Living Proof (Unilever), Estée Lauder, and Bath & Body Works (and Victoria’s Secret/Pink).
Vivek earned his Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) in Monroe, LA, where he had the privilege of receiving exceptional mentorship from Dr. H. M. Mehendale as his advisor. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.
Vivek holds an MS in Pharmacology and Toxicology (genotoxicity-focused) from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, India, and a BPharm from LMCP, Gujarat, India.
As a Diplomat of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and a U.K./Eurotox Registered Toxicologist (ERT), Vivek's expertise in toxicology has established SciQra as a trusted technical partner. An excellent professional and academic journey has earned Vivek multiple accolades and awards, including the Carl C. Smith Graduate Student Award (Finalist) by the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and the ‘Best Performer’ award at Johnson & Johnson. Additionally, Vivek has served on various committees of the SOT, Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel Meeting, and Safety and Regulatory Toxicology Committee (SRTC) of the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC).
